Double Sided Dragon and Phoenix Jadeite Jade Pendant (JHP117)

Very traditional carving jadeite pendant.  Dragon on one side, Phoenix on one side.  Surrounded by pierced fram of jade.  Size is 43x30mm, by 5.8mm thick.  Vintage old mine jadeite stone, purchase in China during our jade buying trip in 2006.  It soft green with honey veins.  This is the kind of unique natural color jade stone the traditional jade carver contemplates how to best carve it to use the precious natural color to highlight the carving.  Dragon and Phoenix are symbols of Yin and Yang, Female and Male, and symbolic of Dao, being in harmony with nature.
